Pima County Community Participation and Mitigation Ordinance

The Community Participation and Mitigation Ordinance identifies the policies and process for Pima County citizens, neighborhoods and businesses to provide valuable input during the design and construction phases of transportation projects. First written in 1989, the ordinance was most recently updated in April, 2006. The ordinance establishes the process for gathering public input, including the creation of a citizen advisory committee for each major roadway project.
