| Abstract | | This is the BLM Arizona Imagery Mosaic ECW Photo Index as delivered with the opdoq96b DOQQ imagery.
The layer is a grid showing the area covered by the compressed ECW orthophotos. Since ECW files are more highly compressed than TIFF, the ECW files cover a larger area than the original TIFF format orthophotos. Using the Arizona MapGuide Map, holding the mouse cursor over individual map areas shows yellow map tips with the ECW orthophoto file name. The ECW Photo Index layer is only useful for those with access to the ECW files.
This grid represents the compressed ECW files, not the original TIFF images as represented by opdoq96b.
