Ordering a Username and Password

Overview

This page explains how to order a username and password for FTP Server GIS Data Download. The username and password is only for download from the GIS data download area. The account does not allow you to upload files or access other areas of the FTP server.

If you want to see a sample of the data and its Shapefile format before ordering, here is a sample ZIP file of the county boundary: pima_all.zip -- You can use this ZIP file to check for compatibility with your data and software.

Fees

There is no charge for non-commercial access to FTP Server GIS Data Download at this time. Internal Pima County departments and others without direct access to the data on our internal servers must also apply for a username and password.

If your needs are for a commercial purpose, please contact Steve Whitney, e-mail address , phone 520-740-6670. In addition, commercial purpose users will need the Verified Statement of Commercial Purpose Public Data Request PDF file format form.

Print, fill out, and sign the following three forms

To print the forms, view them with your web browser and choose File, then Print... from your browser's pull-down menus. There is no way to submit the order online over the Internet. You need to print the forms and send or fax them in.

Order form. You can either print the order form and then fill it out with a pen or you can fill it out online and then print it.

Please allow approximately one week for delivery of your FTP server username and password to the e-mail address given on the order form.
