Pima Image Comparison Tool - Planned Updates

We hope to add more features to the Pima Image Comparison Tool. There is no timetable for these enhancements and no assurance they will be implemented.

Our wish list includes:

• Copy the current image view to clipboard.
• Print the current image view.
• Save the current image view to disk.
• Link from the MapGuide displayed area to the same location on PICT.
• Display the major streets vector layer for reference.
• Support other web browsers such as Firefox.

The copy, print, and save functions can be done with some inconvenience now:

• You can print the entire PICT page using your web browser's File, Print... function or print icon.
• The entire PICT page can be copied to the clipboard using Alt-PrintScreen (Alt-PrtSc) on your keyboard. You can paste the contents of the clipboard into any graphics program to clip out or save the portion of the page you want. To capture the most detail from the screen and get the best results, apply many of the same techniques we use for MapGuide as described at Optimizing Orthophotos, Imagery and Map Details.
